I have fell in love with DT's after rescuing Epizon (greek for survivor) and I fell in love with the breed. Here is Epizon

He is quite handsome! Which picture does his color the most justice?

Is it my imagination or are DT bodies more streamlined than other betta types?

The first one does but you have to see him in real life, none of these photo's does him justice. He is purple and his tail fin is almost all magenta. IMO, I think they are a little shorter than other types.

Shiny is a DT but it's hard to tell. He hasn't really flared for me yet, either. He's so cute.

Awww, such adorable and lovely boys, both of you!!
I've personally never been the biggest fan of DTs....not that I don't like them, I love all bettas, they're just not my ultimate favs or anything. xD But I've had a few.

My current only DT is Merlin:

The two others I had more recently passed a few months ago, one from an SBD issue and the other just kind of got old, started having some health problems, and eventually just passed away sadly. 8/

Before the tail biting started:

His fins are not nearly as uniform anymore....but I love him nonetheless!

Plum is my only DT for the moment. I've always loved DTs ... they're hard to find around here though. You all have some lovely boys :)

Here is my DT, Cubie...

He's a little shy and hard to photograph...

Here is when he was younger and I had just noticed his torn fins...
