Unhappy No bubbles :(

My 2 male betta never make bubble nests! The filter isn't strong enough to wash them away, and theres plently of spots for them to make them!

:( ever since I moved them into a split 10 gallon they stopped!
is that bad? I mean, is it a sign of stress or something?

No that doesnt have anything to do with it and dont give up, you may get up one morning and see them working on a bubble nest. Perseus had not made any since I had him in his half a gallon bowl for a week while I waited for his 5 gallon to get here that I ordered on line. Put him in there and he stopped making them and its been 3 months ont since then and today he is busy making one. I put some Indian Almond leaves in his tank and started him on some Betta Pro pellets just last night and this morning he was working on the nest so I think it might have something to do with the new food or the leaves. One day when you least expect it you might get one but I am sure they are happy in their home !

It can happen! They just might not be in the mood.

Do you have Indian Almond Leaf?

I put some in my tanks yesterday and today one of my girls started making a bubble nest.

I have a bunch, so PM me and I will send you some leaves just for cost of shipping!

Not really. If you read my thread, it's a FACT. They have no feelings for these nests. The goal is for territory and making offspring. I want some but not yet. :(
