My name is Rachael, I am new to the forums. I wanted to introduce myself as well as thank everyone for their contributions. I have a beautiful new Betta named Mr. Rainbow Sherman (as seen in my profile picture). He was a welcomed addition to the family after recently losing my two well loved goldfish after having them for nearly 7 years. I couldn't bring myself to get another goldfish as they were very special to me, so after quite a bit of research I found this site and I felt like I was ready to try again. Only this time, with a fun and funky new Betta! He has a fantastic personality and follows every move I make. He's grown on me rather quickly in such a short period of time. I hope he lives a long happy life, and I know he is off to a great start thanks to your many suggestions. I was a creeper for quite a while until I realized how neat it is to be part of such a great community! Best of health to all of your Bettas from Mr.Rainbow Sherman and myself.

Hi Rachael so nice of you to join us ! This forum is awesome and has helped me with my first Betta and also cycling his 5 gallon tank I could not have done it without all the great information here. Your Betta sure has a cute name, they are awesome I just love mine !
