Male betta isnt eating its pellets

my betta is not eating, i fed him he's pellets and he spits them out. He tries to chow them and then spits them out.

Maybe to big live or freeze dried food is more acceptable or make him work for it.

he is in a flower vase and his water temperature is 82 degress.

A vase... How many gallons? Flowers belong in vases, not fish. Why would you keep him there? That's a stupid idea IMO.

I second that your fish cannot get exercise lethargic Betta fish have a hard time eating five gallons is the minimum filter needed and hiding spots in anything smaller than a gallon need a 50 percent daily and still live 3 years a well cared for Betta ac live 7-8 years with 10years not unheard of.

is temporary im going to buy a fish bowl on monday, sadly is the only thing i have
and he's in a vase with a little bit more then half a gallon.

How big is the bowl 5 gallon minimum filter heater and hiding spots the bigger the tank the less the hassle.

i dnt have room for a tank bro i actually have three bettas but the other two are perfectly fine.
