Theres no minimum because you truly honestly don't HAVE to use it, but I highly reccomend you do. If I were you I would treat for the whole 10 days.

I do not have either of those. I do have AQ salt though. And I don't have stress coat. I just have tetra aqua safe conditioner which replenishes protective slime coat...

So should I do both of them? The VT is up and swimming like nothing ever happened. He just looks like he got the snot beat out of him. THe CT is better, but his pectoral fin is still up against his side.

Which ever has a bigger issue should be treated first. If there's hardly anything wrong, clean water will do fine.

The VT just has scales missing and ripped fins but I'm afraid to release the CT from his floating cup because he can't swim well.

Can you make a hammock for the CT?

Yeah, he has a little craft mesh tube attached to the side of the tank. But after all that happened, he was hiding under a little bridge at the bottom. Maybe he was just a bit shocked though.

I can treat both at the same time, but one will be in the small cup.

The CT should be in the small cup IMO. Let him recover after what happened. He's probably in trauma from the fight. Your VT should be treated to prevent any infection that might set in. I wish for the best.

One more thing... With the small cup (16 oz) should I do a water change in the morning and at night? Could I do it for the bigger cup as well? Would I have to acclimate them for any of this?

If you want to. And yes, you'd have to acclimate him.
