Frodo and Sam (and a little of Rasputin)

my fiance Crystal (she's on here as Opioid Slumber) took some wonderful photos of some of our bettas tonight and i wanna share em!

first up is little Rasputin (he's a black/multicolor metallic CT) who we've not gotten a clear shot of yet. his colors make him a stealth fishie in his black gravel tank, so this is the best we've gotten so far:

he was a petco treasure, just like all of our bettas. we like to buy in person rather than online so we can get a good idea of their personalities, rather than just their appearance, before we bring them home.

wow, you got those stunners at petco!! i never see anything so fine there. (good thing too or i would have a house full of tanks and spend all my time doing water changes)

haha thanks everybody...i actually found him (Sam's hers) and she found Frodo....both times we went looking, we passed over them and moved on the the next shelf, only to have the other come rushing to us shouting something along the lines of "I FOUND YOUR FISH! LOOK!!!" whoever supplies the petco in our town (the manager says they buy from local breeders) certainly knows what they're doing, expecially with halfmoons and halfmoon variants (Frodo's a rosetail, Sam is a SDeT i'm pretty sure, he has about a 170-175 degree spread)
