Help swollen betta

Hi Can someone please help me. I don't know what to do to help him. I woke up to this.

How can I treat this?

We were discussing this on an earlier thread in the care section. We think it may be fkuidbuildup or constipation plus overeating. Do you have any live plants? They often randomly decide to munch on those.

Any snails in his tank that you know of since you have a live plant there could be ?


Does anyone know the treatment of how much Espom salt per gallon for bloating ?

Wow..I have never seen this before, You may want to check with Sakura, on the forum, or Old Fish Lady..they would be able to advise you best. I am sorry, I am not sure what it could be, and I don't want to give the wrong advice.

Same as Aquarium Salt, 1 tsp per gallon..Is Perseus ok??

Yeah that would be best I agree with Lelei I hope one of them are on line right now.

I would def try the Epsom, as it is best for internal issues, and that is a great start, then take it from there..do you have empsom salt?
