How did I...?

Oh dear. I just bought a betta. seems like a dragon half moon. but he's so clamped you can hardly tell.

How did I buy him... the guy told me that he'll live a few months... and I just kinda got stubborn and said "we'll see"

Kuro's going to be jealous....

I finally have a reason to pull out the API test kit thats been sitting there collecting dust.

He is going in Kuro's old 1/2 gallon, with lots of IAL and some plants. I think I'm going to sell the guppy grass at a later date. It seems that *I will have use for it now :)

pictures later, if he survives the trip home I guess.

Oooo, from what I can see of his coloring he seems to be quite the little stunner. <3
Poor thing though, all clamped like that....looks like he had been in some not so great conditions before. D: I bet he'll perk up after some clean water and TLC though of course, you'll definitely have to keep us updated!

I thought he was a Vt at first! he still looks like one. lol.
The thing is so depressing to watch. He doesnt even move. except to get the occasional breath of air. then he sinks again.

I cant see any visible infections. his water was very cold. Im now slowly switching him over to warmer water.

He also get blown around by the tiniest of currents. despite trying to pour new water in as gently as possible, he floats around in it like a leaf.

the total opposite of Kuro... who is currently charging from tank wall to tank wall trying to figure out who his new unwelcomed neighbour is.
