Conditioning Water Time Frame

let me map this out for you. I have a cup of water, like an actually big gulp cup that I have added two drops of API to it and want to know how long it will take before I can add it to my tank so I can refill it and condition that water. Also I have a 1 gal jug that I have put damn near 15 drops in (just to be safe) how long before I can add that to the tank? I drained 2.5 gals from my tank and want to make sure I can fill it all up today. All the water has settled to room temp so it's a bit colder than the tank water left right now. I am mostly concerned with adding the water in the big gulp cup first hoping since it's smaller it should take less time to condition. That way my fish isn't stuck in this tiny amount of water for too long.

You can put it in right away, actually. But I suggest to mix it first so the conditioner mixes in with the water and to wait 1 minute. Conditioner works instantly which means you won't have to wait. Aged water has no difference as well. If your Betta is healthy, they can tolerate 1-2 degrees of water temperature difference.

My conditioner's cap or even a plastic spoon or fork. Sometimes my fingers!

I used a big wooden spoon xD I felt so epic and spell casty mixing up the water in the giant jug. His new water is in his tank and he's so happy to have it back. When I drained half the tank he kept looking at it like "Hey...where did all the water go?"
