Greetings everyone. My name is AJ but my nickname has been Talen for just as long. I am an artist/photographer from PA. Its been a couple of years since I last had a Betta but a shopping trip to Wallyworld brought me back into the keeping of Bettas.

While waiting for my roommate, I roamed into the fish area to pass the time. I found a male betta in the back of self all by himself like he was forgotten about. I picked him up and looked him over and I noticed how special he was. Unlike all the other bettas there he was no red or blue in coloring. Spot as he would come to be known was a rather sad looking betta and was barely moving. I couldn't bring myself to leave him there. So I put him in the cart and brought him home.

Now he is one happy fishie and I find myself glad to be back in the fish keeping once again.
