verify what kind he is?

i got a new male(named Rain) the other day from petco..the label said double tail.looking at a picture of a of a halfmoon double tail on the website.he looks like a halfmoon double tail....can some1 verify this and tell me what kind he really is?if so i paid a lot cheaper for him than his actual price due to wrong labeling..

Hmmmmmmm definitely double tail..
I can't say if it's halfmoon as well unless his tail makes the full 180 when he's flaring...

any way of getting him to safely do it?i have him close to another male rite now in a separate tank..but they arent too close so not to flare at each other.

To be honest, I've only heard of a half moon duble tail, and a double veil... so I'm assuming yours is a double halfmoon by default

I have a half moon double tail and I must say Aquarius's tail is just overall fuller. When he flares you can tell he is a half moon.
This tail does not look the same as his.

i actually dont have a mirror.though my step mom might..ill ask her..on the petco website i looked at the pic of a double tail and double tail halfmoon..his tail looks different than the double tail..but looks the same as the picture of the halfmoon..i looked online and really couldnt find anything rite away.then decided to try here and see what every1 says..

its y im getting confused.doesnt seem rite.and want to verify rather or not he is..i know what a halfmoon looks like rite away..but wasnt sure about double halfmoons.

I could try to get Aquarius to flare and snap a photo for you to compare, he's double tail half moon and came from Petco so I am sure they likely came from the same fish mill breeding farms of doom. I'll grab a mirror and my phone, brb
