Vlad the Impaler (new fish!)

our new betta, Vlad the Impaler! he's a mustard gas delta tail, and he's beautiful and full of personality:





not sure if bettas actually have tongues, but he certainly looks like he's poking his out at us!

Ooh, he's so pretty! Reminds me of my Fishie (my avatar) without the blue. Fishie is half-moon tho. But their fins are really similar.

he was listed as a DeT but we've het to see him flare, i know that pet stores will often mix halfmoons and deltas up, so he might be a HM.

OOh I like, what a pretty fishy..Love that tail..he must be huge when he flares..and I bet he will get more colorful in a few weeks..Very cool name..:)

haha we name-theme all of our fish, he's a name partner to Rasputin, and Vlad The Impaler seemed perfect: both crazy pseudo-demonic dudes from eastern europe with insatiable power-lust.

Deltas are my favorites! But I thought mustard gas was blue and yellow? I need to do more research I guess

it is, his scales are yellow with blue ringing, and he's got blue trim and streaks in his fins.
