Registereduser - That was the same way I killed my first betta - had a filter and was told I never had to change the water well, that and I didnt know about water conditioner.

Anyways, baby is still hanging in there. It's still has rapid gill/outh movement BUT it did eat a bloodworm and its tail looks like it unclamped a bit. A little more active too. Still have it floating in a cup with about 1/2 of water that I use a syringe to change out a few times a day. I tried seting it free in the breeders net but it just sank to the bottom and since it can't really swim too well..back into the cup it went.

It needs a name..something like Ozai or Tarrlok
