Eyes look big.

Hey guys, got a new 10 gallon and added my betta after it had cycled. Also added some tank mates. Just now I was taking some pictures of it and noticed Chibi's eyes seemed big? Maybe I'm just paranoid, but here is the picture:




Housing

What percentage of the water do you change when you perform a water change? 10%
What type of additives do you add to the water when you perform a water change? Prime.

I think you're being paranoid... but it could be the photo... observe for a bit longer and see. if he does have pop eye, it's caused by some other underlying disease...

He looks just fine to me... Bettas kind of have bug eyes... But like aokashi said, observe him just in case.

Thanks guys! I think it could just be the photo since it was taken at a really weird angle. I will keep checking in on him.

Make sure the tetras aren't nipping his fins, and they have plenty of hiding places. If he has jagged edes on his fins, remove him or the tetras.

Did you QT all the fish before adding them? Watch the neon tetras. If they seem sick, then you have something.
