I have no idea! Its been happening for months... I think it might be from sunlight coming in from the window, but theres not much I can do about that, lol.

I had small amounts of that brown algae stuff in my old Fluval Spec too, mostly on the top of the heater and filter output. When the filter stopped working, it literally took over everything in the tank in less than a week. It won't harm the fish but it sure is ugly.

Well, I suppose I will just leave it and see if it goes away on it's own... I'd rather not mess with the decorations and stuff if I don't have to...
