Hi!! I'm very new to the community. I usually browse reddit to post pics and brag about my little betta and it has just been dead. I think this community is exactly what I was looking for! I currently have a really young CT male who I might have a lot of questions about as he is growing up. I also bought my brother a mean spadetail who I'm not too worried about.
I hope my paranoid questions won't bother you all =]

I have a 10gallon with a filter, hiding places, and plenty of food ! A box of bloodworms, frozen brine shrimp, betta pellets, and flakes.

I think he just means that we usually recommend 2.5 gallons minimum. However, smaller containers are ok as long as the proper water changes are made.

Thanks for the welcome! They'll mostly be about my little Tyrannith and his troubles settling in and adjusting.

How long have you had him? Some of the settle in the first day, and some can take a week or longer!

I haven't had too much trouble getting mine to settle in. I just transferred my newest one from a 1 gallon to a 2.5 gallon and he loves it.

Mine have all been so different...my new guy is so mellow already...
