Also, make sure you have absolutely no gaps anywhere for them to jump out. No matter how small a gap is they will find a way through it eventually. I have lost at least a dozen wilds through jumping even when using lids and clingwrap. They are very determined.
Nothing sucks more than finding your prized fish as a crispy on the carpet.
