So im not sure how but as i walked into the room, i saw a live fly somehow get into Bebe's tank and before i could do anything Bebe ripped it in two... and ate some of it.

Will she be ok?!

As long as there were no pesticides on it, she should be fine. Remember, that's what they eat in the wild. :)

Bebe is happy after having defeated the evil fly! (and possibly feasted on it too)

Dude, my tiny plakat betta from Petsmart who has SBD jumped into the air and ate a gnat the first couple days I had him. I felt so proud. :) He was SO cute doing it!

That was like . . a month ago at least, and he is more than fine.

It was Nimbus. I should give him credit.

Now that its cooler I open the windows at nite to let in a bit a fresh air, ill leave the light on over the fish tank just for the reason of attracting the smaller insects to it. The fish love there late night snacks and they seem as healthy as ever.

I have a large shallow pool in the backyard, and I skim the surface and drop all the dead flies and the tank.

My girl Prana. Loves the thrill of the hunt!

My girl Qi thinks flies are gross but she likes to eat mosquito wigglers.

I have scuds now, which came witha shipment of plants.

They're like daphnia so qi will try to vacuum some up with the turkey baster to see how the girls like hunting them down!
