Lethargic at times?

Buddha has been making me worried these past few days.
He's been doing wonderful, he's been getting feed everyday, his tank is getting cleaned twice a week, water temp is good, etc.

But for some reason, his activity level is slowly decreasing. Normally he swims around the tank all day, but now he gets into these random bouts of being lethargic where he will clamp up and lay on the bottom of the tank as if he's sleeping.

He'll do it for anywhere from 5-15 minutes at a time, and then he returns to normal for about 2-5 minutes, then he goes back to lounging on the bottom. Sometimes, like right now, he'll just stay at the top of the tank and hang out there for a bit.

The tank was cleaned just yesterday so I know it's not the ammonia....

There's no color change on him, no dots, etc. When he's not having the random clamping sessions, he's just normal Buddha.

It's really weird o.o
Is it anything I should worry aboutt?

The temp in the tank is 80.

And he has the same swimming room since 7+ months ago :/
He doesn't like bigger tanks, I've tried and it didn't work.
