Betta fish in my incubation tank

hi. check this out. i have some glass cylinders in a 20 gallon long tank. the water is not the same in the tank that is in the cylinders. this tank will be heated to about 78-80F.

my question is. can i put a male and 2 female betta fish in this tank? this way the tank doesnt go to waste. since its only used when i have eggs to put in the cylinders from my angel fish.

figured id put a pretty fancy male betta in the tank with 2 females and some kind of fake plants or something. so if they pair off and spawn. that would be cool.

alright. let me know what you think. thanks.

A sorioty features at least 2 females. Males should not be kept with females unless breeding.

You don't want your bettas spawning unless you have ALL the necessary equipment and time for the babies.

Males and Females should be kept apart. ESPECIALLY because females are aggressive too.

You can put the females in there, but they need heavy planting, hiding places, and a couple more females.

Do you have a pic of this tank?

this is the tank with the 2 cylinders in it. the cylinders will be sitting on bricks. so that the tank will be full to the top.

Ahhhh I like that!!! D8

How big are the cylinders?

I'd say but one male in each, and maybe have a sorority on the outside.

Hmmm I just looked back at the comments, having them on bricks doesn't sound good o.o

Not only can it infect/injure the fish, it could break the tank

the cylinders are for my angel fish eggs. i need 3-4 of them in this tank. but i have 2 tanks like this so 3 in one of the tanks and 1 in the other will be fine. i just want to put something in the tank so it has so activity in it. i have small sponge filters for the 20Long and these tanks will be heated for the incubator cylinders.

but the soul purpose for this tank is to incubate my angel fish eggs.
