Nothing to strange about how I found this gold. I went to buy a plant and some shrimps for a small tank. I find myself looking into one cup on a shelf of dozens of other cups. The yellow fish was flaring at everyone! He was swimming in circles, his golden fins stretched out and nearly folding in half because they are so long, I couldn't walk away! After a while of awkwardly walking around with him in my hands in the pet shop my Dad walks over to me. I raise my cup. "Meet Stefano!" The name just came to me once I saw him. He asked if I am getting him and without knowing it I already bought him!
So I came home with a cup of pure gold~
He has a delightful line of red in his back fin and a bit of blue on his yellow scales. Blue eyes!!! I couldn't help it! He flared at me and I couldn't tell him no! Stefano is still checking out his tank, a little shy even though he proves to be very aggressive, so I can't get to good of a picture. The tank needs a little clean on the outside as well. Ula, my other fish, saw him an hour ago before I placed a bit of paper so he couldn't stress the new fish and Ula is going crazy. He is flaring at everything! I have no idea what his problem is .-.
