Hi guys I got my first betta last night... I'm really looking forward to having him around and be good company... I don't know if it's just me but it seems like he's always watching me... I'm new to betta fish but have had other fish so I look forward to swapping stories and reading all of yalls advice...

Welcome to the betta fish world. Im new at this too but im already really into it and ive only had my betta a month lol. And its just not you your betta probably is watching you. If i go to my bettas and call them by name they start to get all excited and flare their tail fins and swim around i think its the cutest thing ever, and my other fish do it too. I have a community tank of mollies and guppies and they always are following me around their tank and wait at the side closest to the door when i leave the room and come back.

anyways...what kind of betta did you get? and whats his/her name?
