Mine are beast. I saw empty shells today when I vacuumed the QT tank.

I am afraid to let them loose in the snail tank bc I have a ramshorn that I like.

So they're still in QT and every so often I put. Couple more pond snails in there.

I feel like a jerk for this. But the pond snails lay so many eggs!

Oh my word I know exactly how you feel! I have so many Malaysian trumpet snails it's ridiculous. I've got a 5gal on my desk that I'm DREADING sifting through because I just know I'll be here for ages.

I'm thinking of getting an assassin snail for Kaze's tank -- mostly to keep his snail numbers in proportion as I started with six Malaysian trumpets... SIX! I now have what?! Three dozen? Four dozen?! Bah!

well, I just found out my LPS will take my snails. people buy them. common "oops they were on a plant" snails. so-Im good. I just have to purge every so often

i sometimes give one of my lfs snails for them to feed to their puffers and assassin snails

The plant tank at the lps has 2 puffers (to keep snails down I guess) and they were looking mighty hungry. Might see if they'll take mine. I have a controlled population now, counted 11 ponds last night.

I actually like the look of ramshorns. If they weren't so capable of laying eggs everywhere I'd probably buy one too. It took me a while to get Milton's rams population down to just him, and he doesn't lay eggs at all. He's the only snail currently allowed in the betta tank lol
