Minor fin rot...need some help

Yesterday I noticed some minor fin rot on my male delta tail. Here are the params:

Housing
What size is your tank? 5 Gallon
What temperature is your tank? 73 Degrees (heater is on the way)
Does your tank have a filter? No
Does your tank have an air stone or other type of aeration? No
Is your tank heated? Not currently
What tank mates does your betta fish live with? none

Food
What type of food do you feed your betta fish? Either Hikori Bio-Gold or Aqeon Betta Pellets. Ocassional freeze dried bloom worm as a treat

How often do you feed your betta fish? 3 pellets once a day

Maintenance
How often do you perform a water change? 2x weekly

What percentage of the water do you change when you perform a water change? wednesday is 50% change, sunday is 50-60% change with vacuum

What type of additives do you add to the water when you perform a water change? Stress Coat +

Water Parameters:
Have you tested your water? If so, what are the following parameters?

Ammonia: .25ppm
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 0
pH: n/a
Hardness: n/a
Alkalinity: n/a

Symptoms and Treatment
How has your betta fish's appearance changed? Yes, minor fin rot on the very end of his tail. See the pointy part of the bottom of his tail. his entire lower tail was round.

How has your betta fish's behavior changed? No

When did you start noticing the symptoms? Sunday morning

Have you started treating your fish? If so, how? 80% water change and added aquarium salt plus stress coat

Does your fish have any history of being ill? No
How old is your fish (approximately)? I've had Steely for about a month

I'm gonna try adding a picture which shows a few pointy tips on the lower round of his tail. Should I continue with 80% water changes with AQ salt? I have not moved him into a QT tank.

Aquarium salt and medicines with copper are good. Glad you ordered a heater that usually helps.

Are you sure he is not biting.....

The freshwater treatment I gave you should work fine for that level of damage.
