Question betta eating ghost shrimp shedding

Is this bad for him? I notice everytime my ghost shrimp start to molt my betta goes near him and waits till its done shedding then once the shrimps walks/swims away he just lunges at the molt and eats it up.

Should I stop this from happening again? Or is it ok for him to just eat it.

Eating the molt is good for your betta. Lots of nutrients.

I'm impressed that he leaves your ghostie alone and doesn't eat him! I guess he knows that shrimpies is the goose that brings the golden eggs of tastiness on a regular basis!

alright cool yeah he's cool with the shrimp mostly ignores him till the shrimp starts to molt then he plays the waiting game, guess I will let him eat it when my shrimp molts again.
