Fins deteriorating in multiple fish

Buddha and Pudge ave been developing holes in their fins. Pudge has been biting his fins (Or so I thought) for the last 3 weeks.

Within the last 24 hours, not only did it get dramatically worse, but he's developing a hole on his dorsal fin. And after examining Buddha today, I noticed he too has a hole in his fin, but his is his caudal, but it's also frayng along the edges.

Something is affecting my fish, and I thought it was the ammonia, but it's between 0 and .25 for all three tanks.

Squirt and Sir Bubbles are NOT affected, and Pudge shares a tank with Squirt.

The tanks are at a comfortable temp. and are changed 2-3 times a week.

Right now all three are getting completely washed (except for the 5 gal), and the fish are going to new tanks to keep Pudge away from Squirt, and for Buddha to be in a larger temp tank.

Any advice?

there's no black edges though, that's what was confusing me.

It looks like it's hitting the areas between the white parts of the fins on your second betta. I can't really tell with the picture (and it could be the contrast on the computer) but you can see a little bit of black lining the green. Tonight when I get home I'll bloat the picture to get a better look.

And your veil looks like my boy did when it hit his dorsal a few months back, I recognize that evil fin-rotted-ness anywhere

this was Pudge's fins almost a month ago. He did tear his fin on a plant, but since then everything just went downhill, fast :/
And then he stopped flaring and stopped holding his tail up anymore.

Hrm...Try a bit of stress coat first, but soon you should start the aquarium salt treatment for them :(

I don't have Stress coat, to be honest :/

But I do have AQ salt, and Pudge has been in it for a few days now, but it's only getting worse.

I put him in the smaller tank hoping the concetrated amount would help.
