I have a 9 gallon BiUbe in my living room and I've decided that it's just not that exciting as a betta tank. It's a cylinder so it's best suited for fish that like to swim vertically or hang out on the bottom of the tank. I've never kept any fish besides bettas, so fish that are for beginners/intermediate would be nice. I know that many fish species require way more than 9 gallons so I figured my best bet is to ask you all for suggestions. I love bright fish, but I'm totally open as far as # of fish and species. Right now it has a few fake plants and giant marimo balls in it but I have plenty of live plants and decor I could swap into it.
