I was going to get an ammonia tester yesterday until I realized I have absolutely no money to get it with >.< so I have to wait until thursday (paycheck day for the hubby) The good thing is that today my betta was more active, and eating more... the bad thing is that yesterday he ate a 2 betta bites together and within 2 minutes one gill was stuck open, and still is today. With a flashlight I can't see anything obstructing it... and I just changed some more water out last night when I was cleaning out food bits. I just seem to be having bad luck this week, and my betta isn't much better off
Do you think the gill will just heal itself or should I add some epson salt?
