The Betta in the community tank (heated 84, filtered, lightly planted, driftwood, ammonia = 0, nitrite & nitrate =0, no other water parameters readily available) has developed some white patches on her head in the past couple of days. No other symptoms or signs of trouble. She's eating fine, not lethargic, just the white patches. Looks fungal, but admittedly I'm no expert. All other fish seem ok.
I think for now I think I'm going to treat conservatively AQ salt, maybe up the water changes, general TLC.
If anybody has any other suggestions that would be awesome, but what I'm really wondering if I should leave her in the community and treat the whole tank with salt or put her into the 1/2 gallon bowl I have in the basement for a while. If I did that I would float it in the community for heat and obviously do very frequent water changes.
