Half gallon heater.

My baby betta needs a heater for the Winter. She has a half gallon tank and I was wondering maybe I can get her a half gallon heater. I searched everywhere online and in the stores but I couldn't find one. Can I have some help?

a 25watt adjustable will do the job, you do have to make sure the tank dimensions will allow the heater to be submerged below the minimum water line indicated on the heater.

Zoo med makes small heaters specifically meant for bowls that you can get at any pet store, but even with her being a baby I would suggest moving her into a 2.5 gallon if you can it is healthier for them to have lots of room to grow and play a half gallon is very small.

Well my mom says I can't because she says it's expensive.

I would try these: http://www.petsmart.com/product/inde...4&clickid=cart.

This heater is only 8 watts, so it should be fine for a half gallon. I haven't used it personally, but I know someone who does and they really like it:) plus, it's inexpensive.

@DeviCy: Do those ZooMed heaters really work? I've seen some of the reviews for them, and people seem not to like them. Wait, they're the circle-ish ones, right?
