Water becoming foggy!?

after my post of my Brown Plants post I changed my light and pulled most of my plants out of my tank. I did a water change today to clean up my dead anacharis leafs I put my stress coat in and a little salt like I always have an from then my tank has been turning a greenish foggy color. Anyone know why or how this happens and how to fix it?

Edit: Everything is just telling me my tank is over stocked. I've got 1 Betta 4 Ghost Shrip and 5 Tetra Neons
Other then that its my levels and I cant find what would make it turn.

No idea what is causing the greenish tint but I find that if I pull up even a few plants my tank can fog up for about a day. If it's still bad tomorrow after any particulates have had time to settle, then the problem is something else.

What size is the tank and what kind of filter does it have?

My personal opinion is that the tank is not overstocked. The fog might be a bacterial bloom.

I did just get a new T8 Full Spectrum light and did a water change. So blooming could happen.

I think you more than likely have algae.. if it wasn't greenish I'd be on board with a bacterial bloom.

How much light does your tank get a day? Without a lot of plants anything more than 10 hours will increase your odds of developing algae.

I went from having that light in the link on for 12 hours and I just got that T8 light today and it was on for at least 8 hours.

Edit: This issues had came about either yesterday (The one day a week without a light) or today while I was at class and work.
