Conditioning with Bloodworms

Just a quick question to the breeders, how many bloodworms do you condition your bettas with? And how many times a day?

I personally use about 3-5 bloodworms that are less then 1cm about 4 times a day to my bettas, depending on the size.

I'm curious as to how many bloodworms people use to condition their betta, I've heard of people using over 9-10 bloodworms a time, 6 times a day. With that amount, wouldn't that cause bloating? Bear in mind that they are not conditioning Kings/ Giants, but rather CT and HMs.

I condition feeding 3-5 bloodworms with pellets twice a day but will throw extra food if I'm around more.
Bloating is not a problem as long as you keep an eye on it and make sure your betta is regular.
It's important not to just feed frozen bloodworms but to add pellets because they contain added ingredients that your betta needs.
Also remember to adjut your water changes to the amount of food you're feeding.

I feed mine as much as they would eat (what ever food) .... unless they are too greedy; in which case I'd stop when their bellies begin to bloat...... 2-3 times daily.

I feed mine with frozen bloodworms, pellets, fresh chopped mealworm, three times a day: 3-4 bloodworms, 3 pellets and a piece of mealworm. Of course it varies for some bettas as some seem to have a smaller tummy from the rest :)

Hey guys, sorry that I haven't responded in a while, I've been busy conditioning, working and studying.

Thanks for the responses, I've been taking your feeding routines and incorporating it into my own :)

A little update is that the pair will be going into the breeding tank tomorrow, its already set up filled with java moss and frogsbit.

I'm waiting till I have a confirmed spawn before I start a spawn log. Wish me luck guys!
