Talking New betta! Color?

I had to go to Walmart last night to pick up a few things and saw this boy! My husband and I couldn't leave him there, we just fell in love with him His cup was a cloudy mess and the cashier thought he was dying because "aren't all bettas supposed to be red?" -_-
Anyway, we named him DiVinci. But I have no clue what his coloration is. Any ideas? Sorry for the sideways picture.

I think he will too. Some warm water and quality food will help him color up :)
Thank you! It's always exciting getting a new fish and it's nice to be able share my excitement with the forum. Most friends and family don't understand my betta addiction lol!

Don't worry about the gray color, he'll shape up once you start treating him right :D! Congratulations on your new betta!

Kjg, I know right! The red comment had my husband and I stumped. I thought everyone knew that bettas come in many color varieties lol!
