Little Cellophane Boy

I had the most random dream the other night, in which I had a cellophane betta swimming in the tank I had just planted. I should add that the tank had no occupants at the time, and I was debating on moving one of my boys or getting another.

I had seen a cool opaque VT with a black mask in my LFS when I was getting plants, so today when I was in there I decided to look and see if he was still there. He wasn't, but there was a betta that had just come in on their new shipment that was a dead ringer for the betta in my dream.

Of course, he had to come home with me, so here he is in his new home!

Awh, he's beautiful! I love cellophanes, they're gorgeous <3 It's so awesome that you dreamed about him...it's like it was meant to be :D And the tank is amazing as well - I love planted tanks <3

Thanks! This is my first attempt at a planted tank. It is a NPT, so I'm hoping I will be able to take out the filter component when it fills in a bit more. I'm pretty excited to see how it goes!

Hi Gryphon, your new dream fish is just precious. I love his dark face, it gives him a lot of character. I love your new planted tank, it is very serene and I am sure your new guy just loves his new home.

I love how he looks in that pic! You can totally see through his fins. I have a bunch of blurry flaring photos so when I was going back through the pics I took, I was excited to see one that was mostly focused.
