Dividers

So i plan on dividing my 10 gallon up. What kind of dividers do you recommend. Ideally the guppies would be able to swim through...

If guppies can get through the divider than that means that bettas can too.

My advice is to either divide the tank between two bettas and no guppies or just get one male and some guppies.

Actually, it's not true if Guppies can get through a divider the Betta's can, too. I divided both my 10 and my 20 using acrylic dividers with .25" holes. You can't see the holes but they're there.

The male Guppies/Endlers, Pygmy and Habrosus Cories, Neon and Ember Tetra and male Dwarf Panda Guppies could use the entire tank while the Better were confined to their own section. Pregnant female Guppies probably couldn't get through the holes but all I had were males.

This is reminding me to do my tutorial on making vinyl soffit dividers. They're awesome. I will try to get to that this weekend!

I know there's one lurking around on the site somewhere about making the craft mesh ones!

I'm in the process of dividing a 20 long and found this,
http://bettasplendid.weebly.com/diy-dividers.html

I'm just not sold on the craft mesh dividers completely at this point. It's not that they won't work, it's the aesthetics. Which is kinda goofy coming from me, the guy who doesn't mind a big ugly sponge filters stuck to the side of his tanks.

Still, I'm looking for a better way.

I was thinking that if/when I do a divided tank that I would do black craft mesh. It seems to look nicer than white.
