I've had a Vieltail male betta for about a year now. I noticed last year that the tank got rather cold during the winter (in the 60s - I know that was bad, not looking for a lecture), so I wanted to get a heater this year to make him more comfortable.
I have a plastic tank that has a volume of about 1 gallon. I would like an adjustable heater that is reliable
even if it may cost a few extra dollars. Does anyone know of any that are okay to use in a small, plastic tank
. Are they okay to use in plastic tanks in general?
EDIT: If a small plastic tank cannot support a heater, are you allowed to relocate bettas to new tanks?
Links would be appreciated.
Thank you :)
