New fishy!

Isn't he pretty!

My beloved fish Chalupa just passed away last week due to a heater malfunction .. and his empty tank was just too empty. Went to Petco and didn't see any I liked.. checked out Petsmart and there was this guy. He's SO friendly. When I picked up his little cup in the store he flared at me and swam against the cup right at me. Ever since he's been in his big boy tank he's been so curious! I could hear him pecking at the stones on the bottom and moving them around :D It wasn't hard to get pictures of him because he is always at the front of the tank watching me!

Will be curious to see if his color changes at all!

He's magnificent! i hope his colour doesnt change too much. just deepens. I have never seen a betta this colour before.
