Thanks for the info...we really need all the tips we can get..this will be our first time for this type of pet, and of course we want to do the best prep possible, and get as much info as we can!

here are some care sheets for blue tongued skinks, timor monitors and bearded dragons. as far as personality goes, skinks can be anywhere across the chart from snake-like indifference to puppy dog goofy, timors (if you get them very young) are VERY interactive, tameable and trainable, whereas bearded dragons are more of a bump-on-a-log but in a very companionable way.
