Quick Baby Betta Dilemma

Hi everyone. Told myself not to do it, but failed! Bought a baby betta today. "He" is one of the bigger babies I've seen at Petco. My question is I am going home this friday-tuesday for fall break. Now I have 4 other boys who I leave at school and just feed them well before I leave, and I've never had a problem. But I'm not sure if this little one will make it that long without food, but I don't know if a two hour drive there and back would be any less stressful? What would you do? He is currently in a 1/2 tank with heater, and is very active. Thanks for the advice!

I wish you luck with him but I really dont think a baby can go that long without food and their water needs to be extra clean with no ammonia ! Do you have someone who could come feed him and do a water change ? If not I would risk taking him with me, just put him in a bowl or something and place that in a small cardboard box and fix it so it doesnt move around and will stay warm.

take him with you... babies adapt better. bring 2 gallons of your water too...
