Marble marble!

Well, I got my betta, Eko, about a week ago. I knew he was a marble so I was excited to see if he would change. Lo and behold! He has! He's becoming such a pretty fishie!

Before

After

I had just put some blood worms in his tank so he was watching them very carefully before going after them. He loves to flare at them, take a nibble, spit it out and just play with them. Silly boy.

I'll update again next week. I love how his tail is staying mostly white so far! He's such a pretty boy. I love him so much. He has two platies in his tank and he'll flare and chase them, then they'll chase him, it's hilarious. There have been no bitten tails though so they all get along well enough.

Oh he is gorgeous! My next betta is definitely gonna be a marble. Their colors are so interesting. I can't wait to see what colors he changes into next. :)

Mr. Eko has decided he wants to be a blue and white fish instead of a black and white fish now. He looks exactly the same on both sides which I find fascinating. Anyway, enjoy this update of my pretty boy!
