Is this setup okay?

The 2 gallon tank i had my baby Betta in sprang a leak. :C so i divided my adult Betta's (cycled) 10 gallon and placed the baby in the other side. I know that if my baby grows up to be a female I'll need to move her into another tank but until then, is it alright to keep it in the divided tank?

It seems to be fine to me. Both of them have enough space and it seems your older betta isn't even paying attention to the baby, and the baby probably won't come about since there are lots of hiding places on his side of the tank so that's good. I think they'll be fine together until you determine the gender of the baby.

You're welcome (: Though just keep an eye on the baby to make sure he doesn't slip through the divider.

I'd say so long as you make sure the divider is super secure, and maybe baffle the filter intake to be on the safe side....and possibly toss in an extra water-only change per week(may or may not be needed, but I personally would just to be on the safe side since babies do need extra clean water).....you should be alright. Just you know, obviously, keep a close eye on things, watch your babies behavior and growth and eating habits closely, and maybe find something to use as an emergency QT just in case and all that....but I'm sure that goes without saying. xD Best of luck!
