Question Colors and genetics..?

So I want to breed my girl kira. But Im just here to ask about colors?
This is kira:

What would you guys suggest to get the lots of different colors in the fry? I wont be showing my bettas as for I live where no one cares ( )
Any suggestions on what to look for in my Future male?

The picture isn't very good to tell for sure but I think she's a plakat.
I would pair her with a male similar in color but if you don't care about color in your fry then you don't have to do that.
Definitely stick to the same tail type, no matter what color male you get.
And make sure the male is larger before you spawn, she looks big.

I would hold off on breeding until you know everything there is that goes into breeding and realize how time consuming it is. Fry die easily if you don't know what you are doing and when you have 100-200 fry how will you find homes for all of them? Unless you indent to keep 200+ fish which means you need no life outside your fish. If I were you I would wait a year before breeding, wait for a decent pair, build up your fish care knowledge. This mistake has been made on a mouse forum I was on, new owners breeding their mice and it mostly ended in lots and lots of dead mice.
