something interesting I noticed about this site

My Firefox was acting up, so I opened this site in Internet Explorer, and I noticed the little blue fish next to the title of each board. I had never noticed them before so I thought maybe they didn't show up on Firefox. So then my Firefox started working so I signed on to this site and I saw that the fish next to the board names are different red ones! That's so cool. It shows different little betta icons depending on what browser you're using. They're red in Safari, too, because that's what I use on my laptop at home.
Anyone use Chrome? What color are they there?

But still, why would it indicate there were no new posts when I was in IE, and it always indicates new posts when I'm in Firefox and Safari?

Unless I choose the "mark this forum read" option in each topic the fish stays red. If I mark it as read, the fish turns blue

I use Chrome.

I have Chrome but had an issue with the plug ins and everything freezing up so I downloaded Firefox.

Did you log into you account? I know that if I don't they will be blue on IE, but if I log in they are red.

It's because IE is a terrible browser. I could go into the specifics but essentially the nutshell version is that there is a standard way of programming websites....and IE just wants to do things differently, which causes conflicts and problems

Firefox has be known for its memory leaks, and some people's computers cannot handle chrome because if its browser style. I cannot say anything honest about Safari.

All browsers have their own issues. I've never used Chrome, but I remember getting really fed up with IE because I couldn't sign up for an account on Ancestry.com. lol. It just wouldn't work right. I was clicking buttons and they weren't doing anything. That's when I decided to download Firefox. I actually haven't had problems like that with Firefox at all- I haven't run into anything I couldn't do on a website. Since I got a Macbook a few months ago, I was using Safari as the default browser, and I couldn't log into my yahoo mail. I know they like you to use the Mac app for mail, But I'd still rather go to the site. Anyway, the button for logging in is grayed out (not functional), and pressing "enter" didn't do anything either. I have no problem logging into Gmail, though. So I downloaded Firefox for my Macbook just so that I can log into my Yahoo mail account! I usually use Safari for everything else, though, on my Mac- I like that you can use the pinching gesture with it to zoom in. That feature doesn't work with Firefox and I'm assuming not other browsers, either.
