Anyone know what type of tail my girls are?

I always thought they were Plakat,
Also what type of male should I get to breed them? I can choose from Veiltail, Halfmoon and crown tail (personally I was thinking ct or hm)
This is The girls:

Sorry if the photos are a little big, and Kira isn't so photogenic..
ALSO! What color male would you guys suggest? I was thinking green or white? MAYBE blue.. but Ive herd that can produce fry that are unacceptable for show..

I'm sure they're PKs. (Plakats) You shouldn't really breed any tail types with CTs unless they're CTs. Lol It's because the offspring will have messed up rays and deforms. You should breed them with other PKs or HMPK IMO. Did you get them from a pet store? You really shouldn't if you did, you don't know their genetics.

Getting them from the pet store was my only option, and ive seen CTPK and HMPK soI thought that crossing PK with HM or CT's were fine?

You would need to go through lines and lines to get the true CTPK, that's around 3-6 generations? Oh, and there's the thing about them being inbred. For a PK and HM, I think it would be fine. If there's some HM genes in the PK then it should be easier.

CTPK is more risky, money and time consuming, but worth at the end. The HMPKs are common but good looking. (;
