Is this lymphocystis?

So I finally got my new betta to sit still long enough for me to snap a few pics of his tail so I can ask what the lump on one of his rays is. When I first noticed it about a week ago I thought it was some sort of fungus since that ray is a bit shorter than I think it should be, so I've been treating him in aq. salt for close to 5 days now; but while it hasn't gotten any bigger, it also hasn't gotten any smaller either.

I think it might be lymphocystis, but I'm not sure because its at the very tip of one of his rays, and it doesn't look cauliflower-y.

Symptoms and Treatment
How has your betta fish's appearance changed? He has a small lump on his tail
How has your betta fish's behavior changed? Not at all, he's frisky as a fish can be.
When did you start noticing the symptoms? A few days ago
Have you started treating your fish? If so, how? I've been adding aq. salt in with his water changes for close to 5 days
Does your fish have any history of being ill? Probably, he came from a Petco.

I would say no. This does not look like lymphocytis to me. It is at the end of the fin and looks to me like thats just how he is. Especially with crown tails, it is not uncommon for the rays to have different lengths.
This picture looks a lot like my fish, Raoul. He had the same kind of thing on the end of his anal fin. He lived a very happy, healthy, and active life.
Truthfully, it does not look like it is lumpy or like cauliflower. Rest assured, this is probably not anything serious.

looks like his fins are just curling, which is harmless. When my betta had his really long tail, it kinda got lumpy. this is also caused by hard water, and is known as the curling of fins".

Good to know its probably nothing serious, then. Tomorrow when I change his water I won't add salt, and I'll just keep an eye on it for awhile.
