Compatible?

Would I be able to put either a Bristle-nose Catfish or a Butterfly Loach (catfish) into my 50L tank with one of my male Betta? It's my first time buying one and I want to make sure it won't injure/kill my Betta.
The Bristle-nose is 8 cm and the butterfly is 2-3 cm they're supposed to grow but the owner said that he hasn't grown at all.

No, bristle nose poop a ton, and it would be too much for that tank. You should try something a little easier, like a shoal of some tetra or cory catfish if your tank has sand.
