Upgrading Sorority

So,

I just bought a 29 gallon tank and would love to add some more fish, I was looking for some recommendations.

I'm definitely bumping up my 5 betta girls to hopefully 11. I also plan to have a nerite.

What are some cool fish that get along with a ( heavily planted) sorority?

Thanks

Very cool :)

I don't have a sorority, but I believe I've heard from people who do keep them that bottom feeders and small schooling fish work well.

Is your 29g cycled? I woudn't add too many fish at once because it will overwhelm your BB & cause problems. IMO, if you're going to have 11 female Bettas, I wouldn't really add to much more to the tank. I have a 46g currently housing 3 females, 2 CAE's & 1 mystery snail & I have 4 more females in QT that will be added in the next few weeks & to me that seemed like a lot but I tend to be overly cautious about overstocking. Also, are you going to be able to QT the new fish? I would suggest doing so you can make sure everyone is healthy before putting them all together.

I actually am a proponent of the plant cycle, so I'm heavily planting it and should be good to go( that's what I did for my girls in the other tank).
Basically the plan right now for fish
11 girls( I have 5 already)
1 nerite/trap door
and possibly 5-6 neon tetra.

From my research, I've found that the most successful sororities often have mentioned that they overstock slightly on their females.

I don't know, just looking for some more advice.

I'll definitely be able to QT the 6 new females.
