Ph WAY up?

Here are the readings I got on a 2.5 gallon tank with a plastic plant and a clay pot.

So I looked it up and I'm like umm WTF how? It had been sitting in a test tube for a few days with a tight cap before I tested it. Also, I was not expecting to do another test, so the purple one is half full, but I used half what I needed.

Is this right? Did I test it wrong? What does it mean?

Bright purple and bright blue if you can't see it

The water had been sitting? Hmm, I have a feeling that could've been a factor. Try the test again, but this time use fresh water from the tank/faucet. I've also heard of clay pots messing with pH, but I'm not 100% sure about that.

Yeah, but I recently googled it and they said they were fine. I will test the water tonight. Also, if it helps, the ammonia was way up. I hadn't cleaned the tank in a few days *hangs head in shame* isn't it acidic?
