any one have experience with this

http://www.petsmart.com/product/inde...ductId=2753390

Does it work? I think if it does what it says it does, it would be better in the long run than buying test kits all time. Opinions? There were a mix of reviews on the website.

I've heard of them breaking and giving false readings. I'd much rather stick with my liquid test kit.

I have the Seachem Ammonia Alert not the combo version with PH ,i purchased it to use when i cycled my 5.5 gallon tank i love it,but it is not meant to replace regular testing .The first one that you posted is only good for 3 months the Seachem Alert is good for a year. What i like about it is it gives me peace of mind ,at a glance i can see if there might be a problem in between my weekly water testing.

I have the seachem one as well and I do like it as a general idea where my tank is, but I trust my API liquid kit more. My friend has the Mardel and says it's fine, but the pH monitor doesn't last as long as seachem's does.
