This is Sulu. Can anyone tell me what type of tail he has? I am terrible at IDing. Also, I'm worried that he may not be eating enough, does he look rounded out from these photos or he is he on the thin side? Anyway, the photos are not the best, but these are from him in his 10 gallon tank. He's quite happy in there. The redness on his tail is from some tail chomping that he did a while ago. He's not the most stunning betta, but I think he has plenty of personality and is a very active swimmer. His blue goes well with the plants in the tank, I think. The pictures are not the best because he is quite active and does not like to stay still for a photo op.
But he has really grown since I got him. When I purchased him he was in a cup labeled female veiltail but his tail has really come out since then and his colour has enhanced. I like to think he's rather happy in his new home. Anyway, onto the photos:
